Hucava Alpaca

Serano Alpacas and Yarns is a working huacaya alpaca farm with a farm store offering Made-in-USA handcrafted alpaca yarns, socks and apparel and even a few antiques and collectibles! Our Kentucky Farm Tour is tailored to learning about the alpacas and how their revered fiber goes from 'fleece' to 'fashion'. Located in Springfield, KY.

Bring your family to Serano Alpacas and feed the animals. Learn how to "speak alpaca". Feel the luxurious fiber revered by royalty and see for yourself how the gentle, inquisitive huacaya alpacas capture everyone's heart.

WELCOME to The Live Wires from Bruner's Chapel Baptist Church on April 18! We're so excited to have you visit, feed some carrots and apples to the alpacas, and learn a little bit more about their history, their unique characteristics, and a little about us! We're anxious for you to see what happens to all that fiber off the alpacas, and will be glad to share some amusing stories about alpacas and LGD's (Livestock Guard Dogs) as well. Bring your questions, and bring your camera! The alpacas have a perpetual smile! Ron & Judi
